the tall poppy syndrome is alive and well in Oz. In reporting the fantastic news of the first shipment yesterday, ABC radio mentioned the 3 worker deaths that have occurred during the life of FMG's project...and oh, by the way, 2 of those deaths occurred during the big cyclone. Geez...I suppose the cyclone was Forrest's fault.
WTF...you can always rely on the ABC to throw in some negative spin in the middle of good news. They did the same thing with the Iraq war: every positive news was followed by scenes of mayhem...its quite a tactic.
