OK, I have an ikea kitchen. In my OWN house. Husband installed it.
We are very happy with it.
In terms of wearability....... I have a bottom drawer stacked to the max with pots and pans including the chasseur heavy ones. Get's opened and kicked shut many times a day, and still perfect.
I think renters would be fine with it.
Unless of course you are renting to downsizers in Toorak, in which case listen to Masssey...
