No doubt Kawi is ready but he has the weight 58.5 to carry against this good field but his last 2 wins he carried 59.. They are going to ride him back in the field and look for a fast finish, which is the way he's won most of his races. Down the outside I hope and not ridden looking for a gap.

Ive got a wee wager on him but you Ozzies are tough. NZ tote $14/4. at the minute. It's a million dollar race so surely they'll be trying and not saving him for the next. If he's calm , relaxed in the parade ring I might get more confident.
