Had a similar appalling experience with the share registry. I emailed them on three ocassions. Their first response bore no relationship to my question. No reply to the second. The third was responded to confirming that I had the new shares. I think they were guessing and just wanted me to go away, but this will be good enough to pursue the matter if it turns to sh88.

Tried at the same time to take up BSM shares with no response from either the company or registry.
