Since 1st January, a party or parties holding shares under Forsyth Barr nominees (a NZ based broker) has bought 500k shares and sold 500k shares in addition to what looks like a core holding of 800k shares.

This is the sort of volatility that is driving the swings I think. Quite a risky strategy to buy that many during January but it shows that there are a few out there who have a lot of cash to speculate on smaller co's with - either that or FB are making trade recommendations to a number of their clients simultaneously and driving the swings.
