Can anyone explain to me why some shareholders are not allowed...

    Can anyone explain to me why some shareholders are not allowed to vote ? It appears that any shareholder living in a jurisdiction outside of Australia is ineligible. As a long term holder ( since 2009 ), I find this a little bit unfair. Why should one group of shareholders be treated any different to any other?
