Interesting development, but with that amount of cash I wonder why KKR didn't just go the T/O route for one of the JV partners first and then explore alternatives.
Maybe they saw better value in the H corp wells outside the JV?
Or IMO the answer is that as both are private companies, they don't have to give out ANY information regarding their activities to other entities, ie SHAREHOLDERS.
