I wonder if all players can adequately put a future value on the sum of the parts for PPT?

    Indications are:

    1. Sizeable Div's being paid out at present seeking a home?
    2. Huge sums sitting on the sidelines seeking an appropriate time to enter the market
    3. Huge sums going into Superannuation holdings
    4. M&A activity reducing the No. Companies available to invest in!

So, if these funds enter the market, will the market be able to get the returns that previously were enjoyed OR will compromise be the outcome as more money than company returns seek a home to invest?

Is PPT the place to be?

    If my Calc's are correct:
Notice in real terms money has depreciated approx. 20% over the past 4 years. 4 years ago, PPT was trading at approx. $28, taking inflation into account - today's equivalent would need to be approx. 25% higher - in real terms that would mean PPT would need to be approx. $35 to match the equivalent pricing power of 4 years ago.

I wonder how many investors take into account the erosion of value due to inflation?

Can PPT overcome the inflationary hurdle? The share price has eroded, inflation has ramped up!
