As far as the buyout price goes, I don't think the current artificially depressed market price will impact enterprise value very much. The real benefit of the low market is that someone, let's say KKR, can establish a position at these levels before having to announce their substantial holding. Once a bid is made there will have to be an independent firm which will provide a "fairness opinion" based on the company's value as a going concern, as well as on its assets.
