I don't know whether he was referring to me or not - but I was one of the "guys" speculating on where the price might go.
Where do I get this stuff from?
Pure Classic Technical Analysis - it's been around for Donkey's Years:
Such targets always look overly optimistic at the time of being made. Maybe this one is.
if you want some Fundamental Analysis (which won't give targets), here's a few stats from Comsec:
Woolworths is currently undervalued - so it wouldn't be surprising to see buyers or take-over merchants sniffing around.
Anything under 1 on the Aspect Earnings Model is Under Valued.
The P/E is below the sector average.
The P/S Ratio is below the sector average.
That's just a few things to consider.
