I think you have your head buried in the sand. Credit card holders have been doing that for decades; however, they have been paying interest and a yearly fee. BNPL subscribers do not. They know exactly what they have to pay over four payments and do not pay any fees unless they default. They also will not let's say spend $10,000 on BNPL unless they can pay it back. Instead they make smaller purchases which is more appealing to today's youth. JMO
