I read in AFR last week u cant "wash" shares this year, new ruling from ATO, maybe even came in last year but people didnt know. By "wash" I mean sell a share then buy back immediately, even to an associated entity like a discretionary trust.
Sure Bluey, possible tax selling this month to avail capital loss but new ruling may limit this popular action compared to previous years.
