I've worked at ski resorts for a few years and there's a lot of Kathmandu about. Mainly the layers- people will get their pants and jackets from ski shops and all other clothing from kmd- socks, thermals, fleeces. And you see tons of kmd puffers and jackets for wearing around the town.

decent ski suits are super flaky because the next cool brand is always new and mysterious, just the nature of skiiers, they want a fresh new (but "underground") brand each year. KMD has a bloody solid hold on everything under the surface.
