    Yep pretty accurate.

    Larger flake size has a premium pricing when producing a graphite concentrate. See WKT.

    The general trade off with larger flake is it is more cost intensive to reduce to the right micron size for spheronising. Which is the general process for making anode material.

    If you're flake size is way way to small to begin with. then the spheronising process (which decreases micron size in the process) means a lot of the graphite is too small to begin with and/or post processing is too small.

    There's a bit of a sweet spot in the middle where the graphite is small enough to not be super cost intensive to reduce size and spheronise, but not so small that your CSPG yield drops off the cliff.
