Yes, it is really easy to fall in love with a stock and I have my personal favourites to be sure but the philosophy has worked. Once the first clear million is made the rest becomes quite easy. The spread ensures exposure to several sectors so there is always something interesting to follow, even if only in terms of increased value. While TZL has been languishing for much of the last year PDN, KCN, AIM, BHP and BDI have soared. They may all be boring but are certainly lucrative of late. The heroic flourish entailing all bets on one stock or even two or three is not my style. It was not always so and I am still smarting from some early spectacular losses when the sure thing was found wanting. A reasonable level of diversification also does wonders for the digestion!
