We can all agree with the author’s POV but change in African countries is hard to come by, take Mugabe for instance. One could ask if the opposition was in power would they follow a similar agenda.
For the moment however the best thing that could happen is that the cabinet ministers expedite the issuance of licences and meet with the heads of companies to clarify the new regulations so that business can restart. This in itself would play down some of the unrest as hundreds if not thousands of Tanzanians would be employed.
