One glaring omission in you post Names Little is 98% purity the other one acheives without toxic chemicals and can be further processed to 99.95% purity again with no further chemicals. We know the other one achieves this 98% in their $500 a tonne costs. We also know that it costs at least $1000 a tonne to take 95% graphite to 99.95% using acids, even much more for thermal.
We already know that KNL and SYR require acids to obtain 99.95% purity. Maybe @rocko could include those extra costs in his next spread sheet.
So in saying that maybe MNS should be left out of the spreadsheet altogether as they are a a completly different league when you look at it. Maybe that and the better performing battery results explain the higher basket price.
You can't use MNS's basket price because of the higher purity levels and the higher % of Jumbo and super jumbo.
Find out what it costs for KNL to acheive 98% purity and then I think you will see why the other one is at a premium.
Surely you know this?
