If I was CEO at this stage I'd either sternly educate and/or swiftly terminate any b-grade GM who told me we can't push to make it go faster. I've seen 6 month processes get signed off in 72 hours, where there is the right influence and corresponding desire.
Come on Spinks, enough boozy Christmas BBQs and "downtime". Fire up. Make it happen.
