As we approach the point of a raft of (hopefully) positive announcements, watch for the high volume spikes on no-news days. For me this is an indicator that the 'little birds' in Tanzania are chirping to wives / husbands / friends / brokers about some milestone reached before it becomes officially known and disclosed to the market. It is hardly a new idea, but I have found that in the microcap space - and particularly in isolated mining sites - there is often a useful lead-time for the savvy investor watching for volume spikes. Do not be surprised if we witness something similar here; although having said that, I have been pleasantly surprised by the seal on KNL leaks with Spinks at the helm. But even he cannot stop a quiet phone call or an email...
