I think it was truly the 'diesel gate' which changed the mind of VW/BMW/Daimler, every fifth job in Germany is connected to the automobile industry, so if these companies would fail to evolve becoming the biggest EV producers our economy would take a huge hit.

But especially in the last 3-4 months there is definetly a change in their direction, the problem is they currently lack of 'market ready' EV models, the BMW i3 is cheap but the look is horrible and the i8 is a hell of a car but freaking expensive....

However I think in the next 12-18 months we will be getting big EV news from these 3 and KFW is surely aware of that and the need for new graphite supply, all we need is the RAP sorted out now!
