    @Calts
    Yes good old gravel roads well maintained are OK. Just don't get behind a 3 trailer.

    Trusty old googling a few years back for tenements and other pieces that are magic compared to doing each drill hole manually...
    Many ways to do things usually so use what is below as a starting point of a journey.

    For tenements use this link

    Go to website and follow these steps - hopefully will work.

    Once downloaded click on the file and it should self load into GE (if it is on your computer).
    • These are large files and slow GE's response time somewhat.
    • While there may be a way to batch things I do things one by one - click to find tenement data, then copy to a tenement folder under AZY etc. Then modify the properties if necessary to suit.
    • Data in the tenement files are updated on a near daily basis so the process needs to be repeated occasionally. For example the 'Short cut' to Telfer which was only recently granted showed up as pending in my old GE tenement data base. Not a major issue just one to be aware of.
    ================
    Some other 'tricks' I have developed after becoming frustrated by the amount of work required to get and then add data to google earth.

    Data are commonly reported in PDF's. Collars for DHs in particular.
    Only recently did I look for an easier way. Lo and Behold it can be quite simple in Excel.

    Many ways to do the same thing. Some may be easier than others.

    =================
    Having the collar data is the first step. With a large number of holes some form of batching saves a lot of work.
    Unfortunately GE deals with decimal Lat Longs so a conversion to them seems to be the way to go - unless you can find some real magic.

    Lots of ways to go though most involve a steep learning curve for newbies or anyone faced with the intricacies for the first time.

    The Lat/Long output needs to be converted to a specific format in a CSV file for import into GE.
    Unfortunately the Hole ID and other data are lost in the process and so far, for me, it is back to manually reinstating that.

    QGIS may be the way to go but so far it has been too steep a learning curve for me.

    ======================
    Whatever, the above steps have helped make the acquisition and presentation of data a slightly less labourious task which I suspect can be further streamlined. Any suggestions considered.
