Hope this is the case, it’s be great to see it remain an Aussie manufactured product. But also aware it’s a US-Australian company and the US may insist on a proportion being manufactured domestically (particularly if Trump gets in) and it de risks us as a tender choice if we can meet that capability. Also an urgent need (e.g. hot war) will require massive capacity ramp in a short time with supply diversified so that an adversary can’t knock out one or two factories or be put at risk due to interruption to international logistics.

Hoping in a way to avoid it, but know it’s still a positive if it happens.
