what your looking at is where the intervals with the strongest oil shows were recorded or hopefully the area they call the pay zones. These will be no doubt where they do there flow testing from. According to the announcement the porosity was above expectation and the Mercury report describe this area as vuggy which means that porosity will be somewhere between 28 and 65 which is excellent and would also explain the oil saturation being higher than pre-drill estimates. Also when Petrobras drill PACA 1 back in the 60's they got oil with a API of 28 in swab testing. So fingers crossed that if one of these sections come up with oil with that API it should flow very well.
