Hot Rod has laid it on the line - and, as usual, he is absolutely accurate with his summation and projection. It is very clear that Bruce Higgins has been playing, essentially, a lone hand in Traffic for the last three or four years. Now we have the situation where others on the Board, lacking Bruce's vision, international experience, and management ability, appear to be trying to claim the credit for his achievements. The Traffic Division has now gained such a strong position that it is unlikely to be actually displaced from its leading status in the US, but, without some oversight role for Higgins, we may well see a marked slowdown in growth.

Rod's suggestion, that Bruce Higgins should become head of Holdings, is transparently the right way to go. Anything that can be done to bring this idea before the Funds, and urge them to support the move in discussions with the Company, is worth doing, and would be (IMO) the most valuable contribution any shareholder could make.
