We had on Thursday the 14th of April 2016 the "Knowledge Nation Summit" in Sydney.
Under the audience: Federal Ministers Christopher Pine and Simon Birmingham, CSIRO chairman David Thodey and most importantly Australian Chief Scientist Alan Finkel our former CEO of Opiscan Imaging!!!!!!
It was said: "Our capacity to break ground with new knowledge is obvious. But our more limited success in translating new knowledge INTO COMMERCIAL BREAKTHROUGH means we are not realizing all of the benefits of our knowledge."
Above hits the nail on the head regarding OIL!
What about one of "OIL's board members" sends an e-mail to each of OIL's shareholders which includes a "petition to above mentioned participants of the summit" which can be signed and forwarded by the individual shareholders.
It would just involve pressing a couple of buttons and hence the chance of approximately 3,000 messages being absorbed by the most influential people would be very high. Perhaps even put a bit of pressure onto them.
Copies could also be signed by your local GPs, Gastroenterologists, Urologists, Colonoscopists and other specialists close to the field and past on to the local Member of Parliament.
This petition could point out the cost savings and other advantages of OIL's technology and also the total R&D grants the "Australian Government" spent already on it as a justification to instruct hospitals to implement it and progress from biopsies to probe diagnostic. Remember that we want to get our hospital spending down!!
There must be people at OIL considering the cash burn we have which must be able to express all these points above much better then I can.
It can take a competent OIL executive only maximum one day to set this up!
I still have my hopes!
