The whole idea of this deal is to get the project moving. If the DRC didn't care about ISCID then China would be digging up our dirt as we speak.

If it gets to a decision of ISCID then something has not gone right or the buyers want the comfort of having the ruling.

The DRC would want this all forgotten as they are scared for their existence. To get that help, they have to behave is a reasonable manner and not frustrate it any further.

The yanks want this stitched up tighter than Beyonce's pants. This requires the DRC to fall on their sword and reform to a point that corrupt behaviour is reduced to a more nuanced approach.

The choice is theirs either they change or suffer the consequences.

Previous rulings also don't apply here in my opinion given the international interest. DRC know they are cooked as far as status quo.

It will just be a pivot to western style behaviour instead of blatant abuse of power tactics of the past.

All this will cost to all involved. imo and we have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

I'm confident they will see the light.
