I am half believer of EV now.. but those timeline might have to push more ( like extra 5 to 10 years). the news here is there is this BYD car, slightly hit nearly brand new only did 300 km , insurance has to wholly write it off, why? the repair is taking too long /not enough mechanic who knows how to repair em. I was suppose to buy next car as an EV now thinking 2x .. too hard for repairs , lithium batteries still has issues.
