Why ask you? Because it appears nobody believes you are a genuine holder. So if you wish to have people "discuss the stock" with you, as your statement suggests you do, it is beholden on you to prove you are. You can of course choose not to, just as others can choose to believe as they do when informing their interactions toward you. But if you are so keen to discuss the stock, then why would you not choose the former, if that is the price of the interaction you seem so desperate to have?
