s GBgirl. You feed carrots.
see August Cohen on “political strategy” after Klaus left.
Scarpa attributed 5% blame to AVZ. I think that’s very conservative.
Problem is in our anglophone echo chamber, and with Congo on another continent, mostly we don’t understand, only have impressions of reality on the ground.
For instance August Cohen (below) on X, has no fear to comment on Kabila whereas we DO have fear and self censorship on this forum admitting Kabila was a stakeholder. @JB1975
Nigel fell into the role when Klaus resigned. Klaus was quietly retained as a consultant till October 2018 suggests his deep in disposability in ‘specialist’ Congo.
Nigel if you talk to him was never meant to do the political stuff in Kinshasa — that was Klaus job. AVZ always knew what the conditions were like. There were no surprises only for us.
Nigel had to keep the ball running with Ninja and pretend we were going to mine by 2020– see TPD from AGM 2017 presentation.
—AVZ was supposed to flip Manono in 2018 (a I’ve been showing what happened), Klaus exit is timed with CATL IPO listing and no update on MOUs.
Kabila as a stakeholder — did AVZ know? Of course not ! —they are pure virgin fairies seeking salvation of the Manono people.
So it would be an absolute disaster if Nigel does not make a deal that makes you feel good![]()
