i have spoken to a couple of people about the kokoda track and they all say that the originale track dosen't cross the mine, and the track that dose is for easier access.
there was also the posibility of unexploded weapons on the original track.
this is third party info so not verified and would like to know if any other people have heared or better still read and give links to information on this and how accurrate this is
