That's the key. They are listing here because they are not of sufficient quality to list in the US or Canada. The ASX is an easy route for US and Israeli companies that would otherwise be unable to access public capital markets. The fact we're one of the richest countries in the world with cashed up, speculative and gullible retail shareholders adds to the appeal. This stock will be below 10 cents in two years. The question is whether you're prepared to take a chance on a speculative jump in the times in between. I don't think this is always a bad philosophy. I've done it with SMX, KTD and EMV (the last which I still hold). But it's risky. That's why the pros generally don't do it.
