    No worries Mikey. It's taken me some time, a lot of reading and fair bit of pestering MD's and geos to understand it myself and I'm sure there's plenty more to learn...

    Here's a pretty picture that will probably help... It's cross sectional view of the flow channel so you're basically looking in the direction the magma is flowing.
