This comes to you from the country where the drivers turn their car head lights off at night so they don't "wear the battery out'......and if you fall inthe water and look like you may drown, everyone runs away from you because if you die and they tried to help you, they have to pay for the funeral. Yep.
Sooo...the one digger in Egypt(?) is delivered and spends its effort digging out on the side which might make the ship.....more stuck. A barge to put a digger on to dig the outside or desired direction, apparently cannot be obtained, but the US Navy is on the way. A small nuke should do it. Bit of a crater for later, but that's OK. A few containers might enter low orbit.
If the Egyptian population was told they could have the containers and their contents for free they would probably all be gone very quickly. Just push 'em off and fish them out of the water. Baksheesh!
Seems there might be a way to use the principal of leverage some how. One fulcrum at each shore end and a dirty big lever pushed or pulled by bulldozers.
