From the recent announcement it is said that we are using a portable XRF device, this little baby is referred to as “the geologist’s toolkit”
It’s a rapid and COST effective sampling tool – simply the data is obtained and analysed in real time, there’s no need to collect samples and submit them to lab then wait for the results to be analysed.
Arsenic-in-soil anomaly is closely related to gold mineralisation which is coincident with the Ntiola deposit and extends over the new prospect areas this is highly significant as arsenic bearing minerals are detected by this device.
The better results are then further investigated with RC drilling.
This would be a logical step (speaking purely as a layman) to explore a greater area with much more speed and accuracy.
We may find results earlier than expected
Expect the unexpected…
