The first claimed moon landing was 1969. I can remember watching it 'live' on TV, at work in the UK. It has subsequently been admitted that the photography was all a hoax, for some unlikely reason. Unlikely that is if they really did have the technology to get there, but it is only one small step for a man not to believe that either.
As for FAR, they'd better come up with a new plan (I mean something before Q1 2012), and PDQ, or the SP is going sideways and down -- and we wouldn't want Dubya to be right now, would we?
