u ignored my point entirely which is:
EXT may be able to issue 15% new shares without shareholder approval i.e. Kepco do not need to buy shares on market and EXT may not require KAH or RIO approval as some have assumed.
The figures were merely an example - the estmated CAPEX is US$704m (ref 3 August announcement) and stu31 is correct, development is normally part debt funded to ensure efficient use of capital.
EXT will not sell us out - they will not accept any proposal unless it puts a fair valuation on the company.
The March 18 deadline is fast approaching so you better get in quick before more proposals are leaked. When a deal is announced you wont be able to react quick enough and you will miss out.
