1/ Korean business delegation prospects in the extractive industry

A Korean delegation of business men has paid a visit to the Minister of Industries, Mines and Technological Development, Badel Ndanga Ndinga.

The business men came to discuss the prospects of investing in the mining sector in Cameroon. The delegation to the Ministry of Mines and Technological Development was led by Korea�s Ambassador to Cameroon Hosung Lee. The diplomat explained that, the decision to invest in Cameroon has been taken to first of all reinforce bilateral cooperation between Korea and Cameroon and secondly to boost the country�s economy potential.

2. Delegation from South Africa explore business opportunities in Douala

A high powered South African delegation has been meeting with Cameroonian business promoters in Douala. The delegation is in the country to encouraging a favourable trade balance between the two countries.

Representatives of the business concerns are exploring new opportunities and prospects of investment in the energy, finance, infrastructure and textile sectors. Their discussions are mainly focused on the existing business climate in Cameroon.
