There is definitely something going down with the Koreans and Extract. Steve Galloway, Extract's non-exec chairman remained in Namibia last week although originally due to attend a Namibian mining investment forum in London on March 19th at which a Mining Journal special supplement Namibia- Uranium focus was distributed.
A deal with the Koreans- possibly involving them taking a direct stake in Extract's 100%-owned Namibian subsidiary Swakop Uranium which will be the vehicle for a mine development at Rossing South rather than equity in Extract itself- fits with the Extract and Kalahari Minerals' board strategy of partnering for Rossing South.
Kalahari's and Polo Resources' shares on AIM took a lift on Friday from the news although Polo subsequently slipped back.
