There is a suspicion that the COVID-19 virus is linked to the wild food market in China.
Animals such as bats and pangolin etc. were popular and offer the chance of transferring viruses from animal to human, usually through a catalyst of a secondary animal.
This is nothing new of course.
Were the Old Testament diet restrictions a means of recognising this or baseless ?
