There is a single word in this announcement which has been overlooked so far and which i think carries a lot more weight than is realised.
KP2 mentions that "Financiers" are actively engaged and present at the EPC negotiation meetings.
IMO, this essentially means that any signing of the EPC agreement would mean that financiers have also endorsed the EPC agreement and therefore that finance approval has also already received in principle approval (or pre-approval).
Financiers would then just need to formalise that approval by drawing up the contract for finance after the EPC contract is signed (hence why we are told in previous announcements that finance is expected to arrive within 6 weeks of EPC contract signing).
Just need to get that EPC agreement sorted out.
