Unfortunately I think the rises are just superficial, based on speculation and day trading. Hopefully a deal will be announced very soon, and preceded by a news leak that will send the JSE price (then LSE) soaring suddenly. Equally, it's possible (although I feel unlikely) that the deal will fall through and KP2 ceases to exist as a going concern (as the last RNS warned could - in theory - happen). However, I stand by my earlier view that it is in everyone's interest to strike a deal (not least big IIs in KP2), and judging by recent RNS it is extremely close.
