Regarding project funding, the below screenshot is taken from the recent Annual Report. IMO, KP2 has already largely come to agreement about project funding, and there remains only the formalities of the EPC signing ceremony before the funding agreement is officially released.
The second screenshot below is from last nights announcement, confirming that KP2 received advice that the "financing term sheet for the construction cost of Kola will be provided to the Company (KP2) within three months of the execution of the EPC contract".
IMO, we will receive the "financing term sheet" well before the three month estimate.
For now, the focus is on the signing ceremony which is tentatively scheduled for November 19 (only 2.5 weeks away). Then, the focus turns to project funding.
IMO, both these key events have been under scrutiny and under development for a long time, and at this point have been largely de-risked (relative to the the initiation of negotiations with the Summit Consortium).
Although not guaranteed, IMO, it is reasonable to believe that the EPC signing ceremony and the funding agreement will be secured by KP2.
