The recent purchase of Azure Minerals was a failed attempt on their first offer. However, they teamed up with Hancock Prospecting to get the offer over the line.
Hypothetically, if SQM, OIA & David teamed up, below is their voting power as it stands with the addition of this recent buy surge:
Princess Aurora Company (OIA) 16.62%
SQM: 12.49%
David: 8.2%
Recent buys: 5%
Total: 42.31%
Therefore, if they're aiming for 50%, they're going to need another 7.69%. If it's taken roughly 3 weeks to get 5% voting power, perhaps we're looking at another 5 weeks approx to get the rest. So, let's estimate at this rate of purchases that the offer might be supplied around the beginning of July?
This is by far the most speculative thing I can conclude as I am assuming this purchasing rate will continue and it's for the reason of a takeover as well.Hell, we're still on the edge of our seats for the EPC. If that's not provided soon, perhaps it's delayed for this very reason.
