I don't see the relationship between KP2 and Summit as necessarily adversarial......and i use the term "negotiate" loosely.
IMO, the terms of the financial arrangement have been roughly in agreement for a long time.....there may be some minor adjustments in play, but i am of the opinion that the financial agreement has already been largely settled for a long time.
A suspension in trading would have zero effect on the terms of the financial contract.....it would only prevent insider trading from occurring previous to the announcement being made public.
