This relates to the IMF claim, through Maurice Blackburn . I have had notice of this, but thought it was confidential.
On 5 March Justice Emmett gave OZL till the 26 March ( last friday) to consider whether they wished to join KPMG to the proceedings.
This was to do with TWO US loans which were listed as NON-Current liabilities - but actually had to be repaid by November.
The other thing that has held up proceedings is the Multiplex case. The judge ruled that it was a managed investment scheme. This has been taken on appeal. May not affect OZL anyway.
If this finds against OZL then it will vindicate all of us oldies when we say that we were told a bunch of lies about our finances.
I am still a part of the IMF claim for many hundreds of thousands that I lost. M.
