Management needed to 'sell' the Sinopec angle early on so that Hartleys would support the CR and recommend KPO to their clients. As things progressed, it became increasingly clear that KPO only plays a very minor role in the construction of the Hainan plant and have been receiving guidance from Sinopec regarding completion dates etc. Naturally, shareholders who bought the Sinopec story became frustrated with the delays and began blaming KPO for 'underperforming'.

I think we need to start looking beyond Sinopec as being KPO's only drawcard and see what happens with the work they've been doing elsewhere. I'm sure that despite the lack of communication, the team has been working hard to secure a deal outside of China. Judging by the accumulation over the past month we might not be too far away ...
