That's not true in my jurisdiction. The plaintiffs actual name need not be identified in a defamatory statement, his or her identify must merely be identifiable by an unspecified number of people who may reasonably infer the defamatory statement relates to that person.
I understand people can lose their temper online (particularly in forums like this wherefinances are involved), but that doesn't give them the right to unfairly and maliciously attack the character of others.
If Choc can point to a 'lie' that I have knowingly made I will apologise. If he cannot I ask that he retract his statement immediately and refrain from further assaults on my character.
