If they get $15M for the sale of Saddle Hills (i expect this as it is the same price per MW as the Bitdeer sale) this obviously frees KPO up to press ahead on all the other projects. I honestly believe this is what is holding up the Crusoe PDAs. Hence it is the key critical factor now that would unleash our success.
But we need to remember SH is about 2% of their portfolio (now that we know they plan to build 5 modules at Lone Pine). And we know from the CEO statements that they plan to nab a further couple of sites. So SH might end up only being 1% of their portfolio!!!
If they get $15M, let alone a premium price of say $20M for Saddle Hills, it does imply a valuation, just of their undeveloped assets, of between $750M and north of $1Billion!
I think right now we are all collectively just gee-ing them along anxiously awaiting that first sale of Saddle Hills, where the price achieved is going to be a massive indicator of what this company is worth.
One thing is clear from recent reads, is that whilst Alberta fancy themselves as a real data centre player, if you dont BYO electricity with the ability to sit behind the fence, you are a non-starter. And that IMO indicates that the KPO development projects are they absolute key to fulfilling this desire.
GLTAH and like you, i'm crossing my fingers each morning for an announcement around the sale of Saddle Hills.
