after being able to see the island first hand...

i am yet to see a forest plantation without burn marks, damage or fallen trees.

some trees will survive
some wont
the radiant heat destroyed has everything in its path.
i dont know enough about trees to make that judgement.
i do know that one the tree falls over which I saw many times... it is done.

i dont know enough about the company to workout if the insurance covers the value of the trees.

my point is... the devastation is huge. i am not making a judgement on the company but more giving a point of view as to how bad it is.

i am not sure how KPT will recover from this but as a south australian I hope they do.
