    The developments in the VRB sector are forging ahead. Vanadium flow batterries or the use of Vanadium in energy storage is , i think,,only around 5% of Vanadium production worldwide. 

    Here is a link to show how developments are progressing. This is an old article and very relevant.

    And id say technology has developed even further since then.
